Sanat Patel is passionate about food and a restaurateur too.

Sanat has vast expertise in conceptualising and operating hospitality ventures including fine dining, quick service restaurants and bars. His involvement starts from identifying locations to designing the restaurant / kitchen, sourcing ingredients, menu identification, overseeing operations and PR.

He has played a key roll in the set up and development of Two One Two – Bar & Grill (Italian fine dine), Burgs (QSR), o:h cha – kitchen & bar (Thai fine dine – Times Food Award 2015 for the Best Thai restaurant) in Mumbai and Bindaas Bar + Kitchen, Slide On 79, Daarukhana (100 Top Tables in HK 2019) in Hong Kong.

Sanat Patel has appeared on radio and in the print media too.

He has served as Hon Secretary – Bar & Entertainment, Hon Secretary – Catering and on the Balloting Committee of the prestigious Bombay Gymkhana Ltd., Mumbai, India.

An alumnus of The Cathedral & John Connon School Mumbai, Mayo College Ajmer, St Xavier’s College Mumbai and Jai Hind College Mumbai, he started his career with Rallis India Limited (A TATA Group Company) and later joined his family owned shipping consultancy. Thereafter, his passion and knowledge for F&B got him to dive head on into the hospitality business.
