Embark on a culinary adventure with an exclusive menu created by Chef Vadim Shin for the Korean Food Festival, running until September 30th.

From the irresistible charm of K-dramas and the popularity of K-pop hits to the latest beauty and fashion trends, Mumbai is wholeheartedly embracing the Korean wave. The excitement extends to the culinary scene as well, with authentic Korean cuisine making a spectacular debut at one of Mumbai’s favorite Pan-Asian destinations, Yazu.

For starters, we enjoyed two standout dishes. The fiery Tteokbokki, a street food classic, featured chewy rice cakes mixed with onions, carrots, scallions, and a bold Gochujang sauce. The combination of heat and sweetness kept us hooked. We also tried the Yachae Bokkeum BBQ, a vibrant medley of sautéed vegetables paired with smoky cottage cheese and complemented by a spicy sesame Gochujang sauce that added just the right amount of zing.

Chef Vadim Shin, celebrated for his distinctive fusion of Korean and Russian culinary skills, presents a vibrant new menu that embodies the spirit of Korea. This Korean menu is crafted to impress, offering a variety of dishes from hearty stews ideal for cool evenings to refreshing bites that cleanse the palate, each promising a burst of flavors.

For the main course, we savoured Rabokki, a delicious combination of ramyun noodles and tteokbokki with a cheesy twist, providing a flavorful conclusion to an outstanding meal. For a taste of traditional Korean cuisine, try the hearty Doenjang Jjigae or the refreshing Shin Muguk, Chef Vadim’s signature soup. Whether you’re a long-time enthusiast of Korean food or a newcomer, Yazu’s Korean menu promises a warm and satisfying culinary experience.

Beyond Korean cuisine, Yuzu offers a diverse selection of Asian dishes, including sushi and sashimi, fluffy baos, poke bowls, Asian-style pizza, and desserts like berry blossom cheesecake. The extensive menu also features cocktails inspired by the ancient Silk Route. With a variety of delectable dishes and an impressive bar menu boasting signature cocktails, spirits, and tonics, Yuzu provides an abundance of choices. When visiting Yazu, be sure to try the Asian pizza-san, Cheung Fung, Nigiri sushi, and Poke Bowl. And don’t miss out on their delightful desserts, such as the Berry Blossom Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Tart, Pull-me-up Tiramisu, and Coconut Panna Cotta.
