Adding a touch of whimsy to the event is Myaku-Myaku, the official mascot. Crafted by graphic designer Kohei Yamashita, this fluid, water-like creature symbolizes Osaka’s deep-rooted connection to water. Reflecting the city’s adaptability and resilience, Myaku-Myaku shifts and transforms, embodying the spirit of evolution and creativity.

At OTM 2025, Travel and Food Network had the opportunity to speak with Matsuda Hirokazu, Deputy Director of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition. He shared insights into the exciting plans for Expo 2025 and highlighted the many compelling reasons travelers should consider visiting Osaka.
