Chef Raghvendra Singh from Meetha by Radisson has also introduced a unique twist to traditional sweets this Diwali, with his Dry Fruit Tacos recipe. This fusion of classic Indian flavors and modern presentation is sure to impress your guests.
Ingredients:
- 1 Kg Almonds (chopped)
- 1 Kg Cashews (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Pistachios (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Walnuts (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Raisins
- 1/4 cup Dried Figs (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
- 1 cup Condensed Milk
- 2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 2-3 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 cup Sugar
Instructions:
1. Soak 1kg Cashwenut in water for an hour. Remove water and make paste of the soaked Cashwenuts.
2. Add 800 grams of sugar to Cashwenut paste. Let it rest for 10 mins.
3. Take a pan, put this Cashew Nut and sugar mix on a slow flame for 45 mins and keep stirring.
4. Remove the cashewnut paste from the pan and let it cool. And spread the paste on a chopping board and with a round cutter make a round shape of it.
5. Now for Filling add chopped Peshawari Pista, Chopped Almonds, Chopped Cashew Nut, honey and mix well.
6. Take the round shape that you have prepared and make a taco shape out of it and fill it with the dry fruit filling that we just prepared.
7. For garnishing add rosewater to kesar to make orange color. Paint this color on your taco shell. And your Dry Fruit Taco is ready to serve.
