As part of a series of world-class bar collaborations, Nobu Dubai is hosting Alessandro Rossi and Giorgio Bontempo of Ruby, Copenhagen this month in Dubai.
Set to take place for one night only on Monday 27th May, the bar team at Nobu Dubai, helmed by Bar Manager, Angelo Immorlano, will welcome Alessandro Rossi, General Manager and Giorgio Bontempo, Head Bartender of the renowned Ruby bar in Copenhagen, for an exciting collaboration. Guests can look forward to exploring the intriguing world of mixology with four unique creations by Giorgio and four by Angelo, specially crafted for the evening.
Ranked No.87 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023 list, Ruby, will present signature beverages, including Negroni N10 featuring Monkey 47, Campari, Mancino Rosso, saffron and Hibiscus as well as its Purple Mojito – featuring Havana 3, shiso, tarragon and blackcurrant. Meanwhile, Nobu Dubai will treat guests to unique concoctions such as its Clearly Guilty cocktail, where the creamy texture and tropical, light rum-based flavour of Piña Colada are redefined in a whisky highball. Here, classic colada flavours are paired with the rich and lingering character of scotch whisky, along with the unconventional addition of BBQ sauce.
Located in an old townhouse from 1740 in the oldest part of town in Copenhagen, Ruby brings to life fascinating stories through its creative beverage programme. From innovative seasonal concoctions to classic cocktails, Ruby shakes up some of the city’s finest cocktails. Alessandro, an experienced General Manager, joined Ruby in 2019, following experience at thriving cocktail bars across the world including the UK, Spain, and Italy. Meanwhile, having mastered the art of mixology at world-famous bars including The Bar with No Name in London, widely known by its address 69 Colebrooke Row and Bar Termini in London, Giorgio found his calling at Ruby in 2023.
With over 17 years of industry experience, Spanish-Italian native Angelo, is the architect and driving force behind Nobu Dubai’s enhanced beverage programme. A trailblazer in the mixology community of Dubai, Immorlano has been at the helm of the Nobu Dubai beverage program since 2022.
The Nobu Dubai x Ruby bar collaboration will take place on Monday 27th from 9pm to midnight at the Nobu Dubai bar. Signature cocktails are priced from AED 75.
