Kerala is hosting a 10-day International Beach Festival in a bid to promote Kasaragod as a tourism destination. The festival started on December 24, against the stunning backdrop of the Bekal Fort this holiday season.

The festival also aims at highlighting the district’s development by showcasing its potential, and will be offering a feast of cultural and musical nights, along with food festivals that will feature authentic cuisine of Kasargod. Beach sports will be the primary attraction of the fest, for which tourists from across the world are expected to visit this spot and be a part of this event.

International arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand to present the mandatory RT-PCR test result

Keeping in mind the recent rise in the COVID-19 cases all across the world, India has announced that it is now mandatory for all passengers arriving from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand to produce RT-PCR test results upon arrival.

In case any passenger arriving from any of these countries test positive for COVID-19 or are showing symptoms, they will be immediately quarantined.

Passengers flying in from the above mentioned countries will also have to fill the Air Suvidha form and declare their current health status.

COVID-19 alert: No entry to Taj Mahal without COVID testing

In view of the recent surge of COVID cases in China and other countries, one of India’s most popular tourist attractions, Taj Mahal, is put on alert.

If reports are to go by, the health department of Agra has ramped up testing samples for COVID of those visiting the Taj Mahal, especially those visiting from the foreign countries. Reportedly, domestic and foreign tourists are visiting the popular tourist spot in large numbers every day.
