Coming soon, prepaid travel cards in Jaipur, Rajasthan

For seamless intra-city travel experience in Jaipur, the Jaipur City Transport Service Limited (JCTSL) will be rolling out prepaid travel cards, thus making city rides cashless. Those who take local transport like government city buses know all too well the hassle of not having changes while paying for their tickets.

Come mid-December, JCTSL will launch an app through which you can recharge your travel cards using any UPI application. After the initial stage, soon JCTSL will make these prepaid cards available at JCTSL headquarters and all its depots across the city of Jaipur. Whether you are a local or a tourist, you can avail this service for more seamless and economic travel.

Rajasthan sets a limit on booking online safari tickets in Ranthambore National Park

As per the latest development, the forest administration in Ranthambore National Park (RNP) has now set a limit for tourists and travel agents to book safari tickets in advance through Single Sign-On (SSO).

As per the new limit, one will be able to book a safari in advance six times using the SSO ID. If reports are to go by, this move will likely bring transparency in safari bookings, which was allegedly controlled by agents in RNP. this step will stop the practice of booking vehicles with dummy names, cancelling dummy booking at odd hours and using vacancy created for booking with right names. In the new system that allows waitlists, cancellation of confirmed booking will not open new slots for fresh bookings, but will move waitlist booking to confirmed

The park, after it opened from October 1, has been attracting a large number of tourists from across the country as it is one of the best tiger reserves in the country.
