Hanshin Contents Link Corporation recently announced the grand opening of The Sumo Hall Hirakuza Osaka, situated on the 8th floor of NAMBA Parks in the lively Namba district of Osaka. This new attraction, easily accessible from Namba Station, offers an immersive sumo entertainment experience, blending traditional Japanese culture with modern entertainment. In 2023, Japan welcomed back 80% of its pre-pandemic tourist numbers, with a growing interest in experiential consumption, particularly in Japan’s unique traditional culture and cuisine. The state-of-the-art facility boasts a full-size dohyo (sumo ring), theater-style seating, advanced video, lighting, and sound systems, and a gift shop offering sumo merchandise and Japanese souvenirs.
