This Parsi New Year, treat yourself to a culinary extravaganza as the rich legacy of Parsi cuisine comes alive at a unique pop-up event at The Courtyard By Marriott Mumbai International Airport. ‘BAWA BHONU: A Parsi Feast,’ a limited-time pop-up curated by the acclaimed Chef Daugdo Farokh Ragina, is hosted at Courtyard By Marriott’s MoMo Cafe and promises an unforgettable dining experience. Running until August 18th, 2024, this event offers a taste of the Parsi community’s rich cultural heritage through a delightful culinary journey.

The Parsi New Year is a time for families to come together, sharing not just meals but also stories, laughter, and blessings for the year ahead. Chef Ragina, renowned for her authentic Parsi home-cooked meals, continues the legacy of her esteemed grandfather, the late Rustomji Bharda, with a menu that captures the essence of Parsi cuisine. “We are excited to collaborate with the exceptionally talented Chef Daugdo Farokh Ragina to bring the authentic flavors of Parsi cuisine to our guests. This Parsi New Year, we invite everyone to embark on a unique culinary journey at MoMo Cafe. With over 15 years of culinary expertise, Chef Ragina has carefully crafted a menu that reflects her family’s deep-rooted heritage and her dedication to preserving traditional flavors. The Parsi pop-up will feature an array of iconic dishes, including the mouthwatering Sali Boti, a flavorful blend of tender meat and crispy potato straws; Paneer Chutney Cheeseballs; Bhindo Papeta, a dish made with lady fingers and crisp potatoes for vegetarians; the comforting Sali Marghi, a delightful mix of chicken and potato shreds; the delectable Patra Ni Machi, a flaky fish wrapped in banana leaves; the signature hearty Dhansak, a lentil-based stew bursting with flavor; and the sweet indulgence of Lagan nu Custard, a quintessential Parsi dessert. And, of course, everyone’s favorite, Rose Falooda.
