“Toronto the Good” has metamorphosed into something far more exciting, a world city of enormous ethnic variety and endless fascination. Art, food, beaches, nightlife – in this bright and bustling city, you’ve got it all. Also with its residents speaking some 200 languages, there’s no surer sign of that diversity than its dynamic food scene. Swanky restaurants and cafes abound the Financial District and Old York, while neighborhoods like Kensington Market, Queen West, Ossington Ave, Baldwin Village, and the Yonge Street strip are home to more diverse, easy-on-the-wallet offerings. Also as the names suggest, in the districts of Little Italy, Greektown (The Danforth), Little India and Chinatown, you can savor flavors from around the globe.

Toronto is also well-known for innovative fusion cuisine that showcases the city’s strong multicultural heritage. And if your food loving heart is longing for once-in-a-lifetime dining experiences, then ‘The 6’ has got you covered.
You could start your food journey in Toronto by admiring Toronto’s skyline as you nosh on Jamaican jerk pork ribs and Moroccan minced lamb at The Rooftop at Broadview Hotel. Drive a couple of hours northwest of Toronto to Ontario’s Grey County and for a truly off-road experience, take a helicopter ride over Georgian Bay before landing at the Cobble Beach golf resort for a delicious seafood meal. For another extraordinary dining experience, head about 20 minutes from your base at Blue Mountain Village to Eigensinn Farm in nearby Singhampton. Most of the food served at this labor of love for Michael (German-born master chef) and Nobuyo Stadtländer (Japanese-born general manager) — is grown or raised on their property or at nearby farms. The road back to Toronto is punctuated with stunning cafes, where you could stop by for some sweet indulgence, or get a caffeine fix to cure your food hangover.
