As it expands its horizons, it has shed its original form and re-emerged simply as “Glocal” – a name that continues to represent the seamless fusion of global and local influences at the heart of its offerings. This rebranding signals a renewed commitment to innovation, crafting an atmosphere where the familiar merges effortlessly with the novel. More than just a name change, Glocal signifies an evolution – infusing the brand with fresh energy and endless possibilities for its patrons.
With its revitalized identity, Glocal unveils several unique features that enhance its dynamic environment. Central to its theme is ‘Ollie the Owl,’ its endearing mascot who embodies wisdom, warmth, and curiosity. The venue now boasts a stunning 240 sq. ft LED screen – the largest in South Bombay – delivering a truly immersive visual experience. Guests can also enjoy a state-of-the-art show kitchen with a live grilling station, bringing culinary artistry to life. The 86 ft. long island bar serves up an eclectic mix of craft cocktails, acting as a lively hub for social gatherings. Adding to the exclusivity is ‘Glocal Prive,’ a Private Dining Room (PDR) accommodating 20-30 guests, complete with a live screen to keep the experience vibrant and engaging.
Blending fine dining with a spirited nightlife, Glocal sets the stage for interactive and cultural events. The food at Glocal is as bold and diverse as its concept, inspired by Mediterranean, Tuscan Italian, Indian, Asian, and European culinary traditions. Signature dishes include the Robata Tasting Platter, featuring an assortment of grilled delights, and the Dim Sum Tasting Platter for dumpling lovers. The Levant Mezze Platter offers a vibrant Middle Eastern touch, while the Truffle Mushroom Blondie Pizza combines earthy richness with gourmet flair. The Pumpkin & Pine Nut Dumpling adds a fresh spin on traditional dim sum, while the Butternut Squash Risotto is a warm, indulgent choice. The Burrata Salad offers a creamy contrast to the zesty Tabbouleh, striking a perfect balance of textures and flavors. Glocal is also committed to sustainability – sourcing ingredients from its kitchen garden, partnering with local farmers, and using biodegradable packaging for deliveries to reinforce its eco-conscious ethos.
