Nueng, our chef from Thailand is back this week with a refreshing and delicious recipe of Thai Salad Rolls that’s nutritious and delicious and perfect for a mid-week lunch, snack, or dinner.
Ingredients:
For The Filling:
Salad Cream Dressing – 2 TBSP (you can buy them here on amazon.in)
Lime juice – 1 TBSP
Sea salt – 1/4 TSP
Olive oil – 1 TSP
Onion – 1/2 TBSP (slice)
Lemon grass – 1/2 TBSP (sliced)
Chili – 1 TSP (chopped)
Mix all Ingredient together (you can add more onion, lemon grass or chili if you like)
For The Salad Rolls:
Rice paper
Carrots (Cut in sticks or chopped)
Cucumber (Cut in sticks)
Red or green oak lettuce
Black and white sesame (roasted)
Tuna, Kani or Tofu (this is optional and can be purchased on amazon.in)
Method: How To Roll
Soak the rice paper in water just 5 seconds, spread sesame on the paper then put everything on and roll. Cut in a half.
This is easy and fun to make at home with your family. You can create what you like to eat such as some vegetables that you like,I suggest sweet corn and pepper mint or fried Tofu if you don’t want to eat any kind of meat. Kids love it too but for the kid-friendly version go easy on the spice quotient.
