Canadian Coffee Chain Tim Hortons Is Set To Open Two Stores In Mumbai | Here’s A Sneak-Peek
Doughnuts, Timbits and very polite people have finally landed in Mumbai. Cult-favourite Canadian restaurant Tim Hortons is setting up its first store in Mumbai and Travel and Food Network has been down for an exclusive first look at this exciting new bakery and restaurant in one, which opens to the public on Saturday May 27.
Through its food and beverage offerings, Tim Hortons aims to advocate for sustainability with its four-pillar value system, which includes sustainable packaging and recycling practices, environmentally friendly restaurants, and responsible sourcing.
What’s on the Menu
All the classics that you know and love are on the menu, too, from espresso to frozen Iced Capp drinks, as well as the signature Tim Hortons Timbits – bite-sized doughnuts that come in a range of flavours (cookies and cream, salted caramel crumble, and blueberry).
Tim Hortons is known for localising the menu depending on the region it opens in and as a tribute to Mumbai, the menu features Baida Roti Cigar Rolls and Pinwheel Samosa.
The Drinks menu offers a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffees, tea, milkshakes and fruit coolers. You’ll find the signature French Vanilla Latte, Tim Shakes and Cold Brew. And as it’s now summer, there are some special new chilled drinks on the menu, too. Choose from Lemon or Peach Tea, Passion Fruit cooler or Kaffir Lime and Strawberry cooler.
Those with a sweet tooth can pick from a selection of desserts and baked goods. There are varieties of donut to choose from, plus muffins, cookies, and cakes.
The brand was established by Canadian hockey player Tim Horton in 1964 and there are now more than 5,300 outlets worldwide. Over the past nine months, Tim Hortons has opened 13 outlets across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Bathinda and Ludhiana. The two Mumbai outlets will mark their 14th and 15th outlet in India. These will be followed by stores in Pune, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.

Tim Hortons will open its first outlet in Mumbai on 27th May 2023, Ground Floor, Supreme Headquarters, Off Linking Road, Bandra at 5 p.m. and the second outlet on 28th May 2023, Ground floor, Samartha Siddhi building, near Joggers Park, back road Lokhandwala, at 11am.
