The big day for all coffee enthusiasts is almost here as Tim Hortons is about to launch its first store in Mumbai on May 27
Launching with two outlets on August 11, 2022, at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket and DLF Cyberhub respectively, Canada’s largest coffee chain entered the Indian market. The stores saw a massive amount of crowd waiting outside, even before the ribbons were cut and the stores were officially inaugurated. Pictures from the opening day had surfaced, and the long queue outside the store was just proof as to how highly anticipated this inauguration was.
Tim Hortons Inc., that is one of North America’s largest coffee chain, entered into an exclusive master franchise agreement with AG Café, the joint venture between global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate Apparel Group and emerging markets alternative investment manager Gateway Partners, to open outlets in India.
Over the past nine months, Tim Hortons has opened 9 outlets across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Bathinda and Ludhiana. Reportedly, Tim Hortons plans to open around 120 stores in India in the next three years at an investment of up to Rs 300 crore.
What’s On The Menu?
Tim Hortons launched in Delhi with a brand new menu, with many items curated especially to cater to the Indian crowd. Chole Kulcha Flatbread, Chicken Makhani Ravioli Pasta, Paneer Tikka Wraps, Chilli Cheese Toast, Chicken Tikka Croissant Sandwich, and Lamb Kebab Wrap are just some of them . But they have also retained some of their classics in the Indian menu. The very beloved Double Double, French Vanilla Latte, Vanilla Iced Capp, the Chocolate Dip Donut, Maple Dip Donut and the classic Boston Cream are some of the signature dishes that you can get to taste here. We expect to see a similar menu for the Mumbai launch as well. All we have to do is wait and watch.
Earlier today Tim Hortons India took to Instagram to announce the opening of their Mumbai store.
Location: Tim Hortons will open its first outlet in Mumbai on 27th May 2023, Ground Floor, Supreme Headquarters, Off Linking Road, Bandra at 5 p.m. and the second outlet on 28th May 2023, Ground floor, Samartha Siddhi building, near Joggers Park, back road Lokhandwala, at 11am.
