Schilthorn is one of the key attractions in the Interlaken region. It offers an unmatched 360° panoramic view of over 200 mountain peaks. Diners can also sample the renowned James Bond 007 breakfast buffet. For an out-and-out sleuthing experience, there’s no going past the 007 burger, which has the 007 seal of approval branded into the bun.

Even more interactive than the meal is Bond World 007, an exhibition museum that pays tribute to On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Catch key scenes from the film at Bond Cinema or operate a life-size helicopter replica in the place yourself-in- the-scene exhibit, where one can virtually place themselves into a Bond scene of their choice.
Afterwards head to the world’s first 007 Walk of Fame, an intriguing accolade to the actors and behind-the-scenes contributors involved in the filming. Another activity is the Bond Walk, made up of encased displays of each of the film’s stars attached to the rock face. This year is the perfect time to go as it celebrates the 60th anniversary of the movie franchise built around author Ian Fleming’s iconic superspy. Series opener Dr. No premiered in UK theaters on Oct. 5, 1962, propelling actor Sean Connery to stardom. Several exclusive events will be celebrated all year round.
